Banqiao Zheng was a legendary figure in Chinese history and well known as one of the eight eccentric talents of Yangzhou City, he was also famous for painting bamboo, a representation of his righteous and unyielding personality.

The translation:

Palatable wine, one cup after another,
just feel so happy, a Xianyang bosom friend for many years to get together,
For the sincere friendship, I want to drink more,
and fasten my horse to a willow tree, somewhere near.
