Qingzhao Li, poetess, South Song dynasty, (1084-1151), her father was a very famous scholar and quite open ,
so the poetess had the chance to learn literature and arts. she married the son of  Prime Minister, the couple loved
each other deeply, but this situation did not last long because of war, her husband died, she led a miserable life in
the upheaval time, the style of her tones changed from the feminine to virile, she is the only female artist in Chinese
literature history that constitutes the indispensable part of contribution of Song ci--tones.

Translation:

Intoxicated under the shallow of flowers---the Double Ninth Festival

Light mists, heavy clouds
makes the dreary day very melancholy,
the burning incense is dying away,
in the golden censer.
It is the time again,
the sweet double ninth day,
The coolness of midnight,
chills the silk screen and jade pillow.

Drinking by the east hedge after twilight,
I smell the flower fragrance from my sleeves ,
is that enchanting?
I can not say no, only
when the west wind blow the the curtain,
needn't I get more caring than the yellow chrysanthemum?
